2024 was a year of transformation and social responsibility for CORRECTIV. With the publication of its investigative report “Geheimplan gegen Deutschland” the nonprofit media organization sent a clear message against right-wing extremism and in support of an informed, democratic society. The 2024 Annual Report reflects this momentum: With a new design and conception it documents not only the journalistic work but also the strategic development of CORRECTIV as a media organization dedicated to the public good. At a time when disinformation and political polarization are on the rise, CORRECTIV demonstrates how journalism, media literacy, and technology can work together to strengthen democracy.

The design of the 2024 Annual Report translates CORRECTIV’s values and goals into a clear, accessible, and at the same time powerful visual language. The report deliberately avoids a neutral aesthetic, opting instead for contrast, conciseness, and visual imagery that makes a statement. The design is showing a new look for the 10th anniversary and that journalism is not a neutral craft, but an active force for social change.
The 2024 Annual Report is a key tool for showcasing CORRECTIV’s work – to supporters, partners, and the public. It demonstrates how investigative journalism, media education, and technological innovation go hand in hand to promote an informed, resilient democracy.
Award-winning journalism: The investigation “Secret Plan Against Germany” received multiple awards, including the Carlo Schmid Prize and the title “Journalists of the Year 2024.”
10 Years of CORRECTIV: The anniversary marks a milestone in the organization’s evolution from a research center to Germany’s largest public-interest media house.
Growing Community: With projects such as Salon5 (youth editorial team) and the CORRECTIV.Faktenforum, CORRECTIV strengthens media literacy and participatory journalism.
