Seebrücke is a civil society movement advocating for safe escape routes, solidarity with refugees, and a humane migration policy. The project involved creating a strong visual identity and communication strategy that supported demonstrations, campaigns, and public discourse. Posters, banners, and digital materials were designed to mobilize participation and give visibility to the movement’s urgent demands.
Client: Civil society initiative Seebrücke
The movement needed a recognizable and adaptable identity that could be used by diverse local groups worldwide. The challenge was to create a design language that balanced urgency with accessibility, enabling both quick reproduction and wide adoption across different media and contexts.
Development of a bold and simple identity system that could be reproduced quickly for demonstrations and digital campaigns.
Posters, flyers, banners, and social media assets designed to maximize visibility and support decentralized activism.
Working closely with grassroots activists to ensure the communication design reflected the movement’s demands and values.
Seebrücke quickly became a visible and influential movement across Germany and beyond. The design supported mobilization at demonstrations, increased media coverage, and provided activists with accessible tools for action. It remains a reference for how communication design can amplify grassroots initiatives and strengthen democratic culture.
